So i reset my lenovo thinkpad that i use for school to system defaults and if i was at school they would re-image it. However it is school holidays and i need it now, is there anything i can do at home?

Solution
Ok, well, for one thing, no need to bump so much.
So, first thing I would suggest you do is make 110% sure that Windows has indeed been erased. Restart the computer, and quickly press and hold the button that corresponds to the boot menu (usually F10 or the like, it will say on the startup screen).
(Not entirely sure how the layout of your laptop's boot screen is, so just going off of the common elements here)
Scroll to "System Drive", "C Drive", or "Harddrive", and select it.
Computer should *try* to boot off the harddrive.
If it succeeds, and goes to windows, congratulations, and don't *accidentally* push buttons anymore.
If not, then I would suggest either waiting until school starts, and having them fix it, OR calling/emailing...

Hope this helps, and next time, be careful :p
