No, not well at all. Cores are what you need for live streaming and a dual core will struggle for sure.

It will bottleneck a gtx970 for sure in most games as well.

Umm... Fx 8350 and I5 3670k is about the same price. Which one will be better.

The 8350 will stream better but the i5 will game better. Why would you buy a 3 generation old i5 on a dead socket though?

Dead Socket. Well if you see I5 3670k and I5 4670k has like little difference. The 4th gen just has better I-GPU which I will not use. Also Dead socket, Everything will turn dead. 4th gen will be dead too in like less than 6 months or so.

No it will not be dead in 6 months at all. Broadwell will be on Z97 motherboards on the 1150 socket. far from dead...

Don't buy a 3570k.

Do you want to overclock? What is your budget and when will you be purchasing?

This build was for a friend who wanted a Steam Box and wanted to live stream (Now he doesn't).

How's this build? Should i add a r7 250 for crossfire with the APU or should i just buy the pentium. He does like to over clock.

No, don't bother with hybrid crossfire. It usually adds no performance anyway.

The build looks fine, but the PSU is pretty overkill. Also for the same money you can get an an athlon x4 860k and an R7 260 which will game many times better.

There are no am3+ itx boards. If it MUST be itx, you have 2 options: Get the Pentium and forget most multiplayer online games and multi-core games, or get the Athlon x4 860k which has a much worse upgrade patch but it better than the Pentium in any multiplayer or multi-core game.

Your absolutely right about streaming but, only for gaming, I don´t consider 5-10fps diference a Bottleneck... And considering the next viable option is like 150$ more, I think he will regret if he doesn't buy the gtx970 and buy something like an i5 with a r9 280...

I had a friend with the same pentium and an r9 270 and he sold the pentium due to over half his games being unplayable due to stuttering. VERY big issue with the CPU, and only really gets worse when overclocked.

The budget is $600 now. Whats better amd a10 5800k or the athlon x4 860k... Also on a itx can you over clock or no?

yes of course you can overclock on itx. NEVER go for an APU build for that budget. you can easily get a dedicated GPU.

Why does it need to be itx? You can get more for your money with a standard build.

How would this perform? And recording will it be able to record games on 720p over normal maybe for BF4. And how about DayZ, Arma 3

The PSU is overkill. Get an XFX450 for that build.

It will run games well at medium at 1080p. At 720p you should be able to record at mostly high settings. Games like DayZ and Arma will be playable but only at "normal settings" as they are coded HORRIBLY.
