this is my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/d4hwD3

Asus MAXIMUS VII HERO ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Intel Core i7-4790 3.6GHz Quad-Core Processor
Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB STRIX Video Card
Western Digital BLACK SERIES 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Samsung 850 Pro Series 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Corsair CX 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
Corsair H60 54.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer
NZXT Phantom 410 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case

I wounder is it compatible and gonna fit in the case?

Everything is in stock in amazon except for the GTX970 which is kinda irritating.
For the graphic card, I'm also considering the MSI gtx970 gaming 4G as well. I would buy it if it comes out earlier than the asus.
This is how I track the my graphic card:

any advice for the build?
thanks~

I would suggest a different psu the cx use cheap caps that have a high failure rate. Also get 2x4gb of 1866 with a cas of 9 or less.

I'd go witht he HYper 212 EVO over the H60, the EVO will cool much better and costs less, will need a H100 to beat the 212 EVIO, also take that money and throw into the CPU and get the K model

thans for your advice.
what psu would you recommend then? I may go 2x8gb of 1600 in the future, so I buy the 1x8gb first, I would buy another one when I feel like I need it. I heard there is not much difference between 1866 and 1600

I prefer liquid cooling since it's easier to manage. what liquid cooling do you suggest?

Mixing and matching RAM is always asking for trouble and given that your'e talking about adding another 1x8 in the future, you're almost certainly going to be mixing and matching. Given that the motherboard has 4 DIMM slots, there's not really much of a reason to leave 3 DIMM slots free instead of 2.

For a rig like this I wouldn't, very similar to mine and I have my Hero at 4.8 right now on air, but if wanting LC, would look at the Cooler Master Nepton 280L or the Seidon 240M
