So I was talked with my boss at work who just recently bought a storage unit that was behind on their rent. It had tons and tons of old office "junk". I was helping them sort through some stuff and I found quite a few interesting things. I've already bought a DVD tower from them as I've always got use for making backups and whatnot. The one thing I'm not 100% about is an old HP XW6000 workstation. This thing is kinda neat as I've never dealt with servers before, but I'm sure it used to pack one heck of a punch sporting dual Xeon 3.06 GHz processors and 8 GB of RAM.

My question is, would this thing able to handle running servers.

Spec Sheet Here

As I said before, it's got two of the 3.06 GHz Xeons (single core), with Hyper-threading. Right now it's got 6 GB (2x1 GB and 2x2 GB) of HP RAM in it with dual 73 GB 15k RPM HDDs. I'm not sure if it is running in RAID or not. It does not have a graphics card, but I'm hoping I can pick up something cheap for it, if it's worth it.

It boots up fine, and quite quickly for that, so I know it works. My question is, do you guys think it will be worth the 75 bucks, or should I just save a few hundred bucks and build a small gaming machine to host my small servers? My minecraft server is only going to be for about 10 people, fully maxed world. My vent server I have not setup yet, but I'm thinking I won't need anymore than probably 50 slots by the time I get everything up and running as I'll use this for League of Legends, WoW, Battlefield, Call of Duty and Minecraft groups. The other is I've been batting around hosting a private WoW server just for fun for a few buddies I've ran around online with for the past 15 years. The only thing that will be up full time is the Minecraft and Vent servers. The WoW server will be on demand, meaning only when a few of us want to goof around, I'll just boot it up, and we can jump on.

Any help is greatly appreciated. If this thing isn't worth the 75 bucks, plus the maybe 100-150 I'd be willing to soak into it, maybe a suggested build of something that can handle what I want would be in order.
