Hard to say . A lot will overclock FX 6300 to achieve the single core of i3 . Other who want to play it safe will get i3 . Some guys get FX 8320 for its 8 cores and also overclock it . But i3 4150 is fast enough for R7 260X and R9 270 .

This can probably run GTA V and BO2 in reasonably high settings, it can probably max out the resolution on your monitor but be sure to overclock the G3258 for a better experience, you have the PSU Watts to overclock:

Tomshardware wrote an article about overclocking of Pentium G3258 and all go ceazy about that . But for me i3 4150 is better than overclocking G3258 . it is 26% faster than G3258 . So , no need of aftermarket coolers and insane overclocking.

The G3258 is faster than the i3 when you overclock, and I managed to fit an aftermarket cooler in the budget as well, so he should be good for that part. Also the PSU I selected can easily handle the G3258 when it overclocks so really there isn't much of a problem.

I will go with the I3 suggested by rockie and the other parts suggested by sparestuff
Thanks to anyone who gave me any advice on this topic!

EDIT-sparestuff posted as I was writing I'll go with the Pentium most likely, But I'll think about it

Did you see my suggested build? You have enough money for a Haswell i3 and a R9 280 gpu.
A Pentium G3258 is a great replace for a i3 for budget reasons alone.
"That advantage is diminished by frame time variance numbers indicating hitches and stutters in several places"
So if you have enough budget for a Haswell i3 and a great gpu imho you should go this way. A little more? Haswell i5 for sure.

Anyway good luck mate :D
