I do not game on PC. I run design programs and 3d design programs and want to keep 3 screens. I watch movies while drawing/modeling.

I overpowered my GT 240 with 3 screens and now am looking for something better. Price range is between $60-$100

Are there any other cards similar to those named that might be better for the cost?

My specs
to run on PCIe 2, 350 power
Dell DP55M01

Yeah Rockie, I am leaning towards that one. I was wondering if for my PSU, if there were any other options in cards. I've looked at SAPPHIRE R7 250 1GB GDDR5, but it requires 400 watt PSU

Better off with the r7 250. Because of architectural design, amd cards work better with higher resolutions than nvidia cards, and considering the low output of this range of cards, Op could use any advantage.

That MSI R7 250 looks pretty good. I'll have to check out the specs. Good price to.

For the money, pick the r7 250x over the r7 250, it's almost twice as good for a 10$ price increase :)

So with my specs the R7 250 would work? I am not going to be gaming so won't be working the card hard. I think it draws less power than the 640s

Wait, that 250 x is open box, I dont want that. Non open box is preferred.

Your whole pc probably draws less than 200w, and that msi 250 draws less than 75, it'll work on a 300w psu. The 400w recommended is a) because ppl OC, and b) because more than a few low budget psu's have lousy outputs, as in I just answered a post with a 550w psu with 12a on 12v rail. That's a truly abysmal aftermarket psu.

Just because you are not gaming doesn't mean you won't work the card hard, triple monitors is a large step up, and 2Gb will definitely serve better than 1Gb, even for simple Windows or running YouTube etc.
