I currently have a budget gaming PC that I want to upgrade. By "upgrade," I mean to completely get a new CPU, Motherboard, Case, RAM, and eventually GPU. My specs, as of now, are...
A-10 5800k
R7 260x
MSI A78M-E35
1TB WD 7200 HDD
8GB 1600 Corsair Vengeance RAM
550W PSU
Cougar Spike Micro ATX Gaming Tower

I recently got into editing programs such as Cinema 4D, Adobe After Effects, And some others. My performance is not what I would like it to be, and that is why I want to upgrade. I was planning on getting a i7- 4770k processer, ASUS Z97-A LGA Motherboard, And a Fractal Design Define MID size ATX case. I will scrap some of my parts such as the GPU, RAM( I will add more), HDD, and PSU( I will get a better one when I upgrade my GPU) from my old computer to put into the new one.

I am just wondering what your input is on my decision is. I would like to hear from somebody else.
(BTW, I am only 14 and have very little income, so try to keep the price from $400-$600.)
Thanks in advanced :)

Here's what I would do:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($247.94 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H97-GAMING 3 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($77.99 @ Amazon)
Case: Fractal Design Define R4 w/Window (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case ($79.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $405.92
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

The Xeon comes close to a locked i7 performance wise. Also add 8GB of the same ram you have and it will be a great editing build.

edit: I included the Fractal Case because you had it in your upgrade list, but the 200R is also a good budget alternative with ample space.

* CPU is just like the i7 4770k, but doesn't OC and it still has all of the other benefits of an i7 CPU. It is also cheaper too.
* Mobo is good for the budget, you can spend more, but for the most part this Mobo will handle most tasks and still have some upgrade room too.
* I included an SSD, so you can get in and around the OS and other apps quickly. It doesn't cost too much and will make your experience much better (I should know, I have them in almost all of my PC's, including laptops).
* I included a very well built Case that is affordable and has plenty of room for upgrades down the line. Comes with 2 x USB 3.0 ports on the front and 2 x 120mm cooling fans too.
