Hi, I'm building a computer for the main purpose of most all aspects of 3D Animation, Modeling, and Rendering using Autodesk Maya, Blender, Adobe Series, and other programs.
Aside from work, games such as Smite and World of Warcraft will be played on.

Any suggestions or recommendations/comments on things in this build. Looking to start buying asap so anything soon would be lovely.

Thank you.

Looks pretty good, I agree on the 2x8GB either at 1866 or 2133, might also consider passing on the sound card and changing the mobo to the Asus Z97-Hero, it has really good sound
get a 2x8gb 16Gb ddr3 1866mhz 3d/video rendering eats a lot of ram and I think its more appropriate if you will use a workstation card and i am sure it will run smite and wow well. but if you will gonna play demanding games and prioritize gaming, gaming card is more suitable.
970 is a very good card but in some cases there will be better card
for workstation card get K4000/W7000=$8**
K2200=$4**

For workstation use I would advise a Xeon E3-1231V3 on a C226 chipset montherboard (ASROCK RACK WS+) and 2x8GB ECC memory (samsung 1.35V 1600-11 DDR3 UDIMMs). A larger SSD might not be a bad idea either if you want some project space on the drive along with the long list of pro apps.
