I recently bought a 144hz monitor and am loving it with csgo!!
I am currently running it capped at 180fps, 144hz and noticing some screen tearing, nothing too bad, but i'm just wondering if there is an optimal fps i should be aiming for at this refresh rate.
Also, does csgo support vsync to 144hz? if so, can I just v-sync it to 144hz? Or will there be too much mouse lag?

Solution
Your optimal fps should be the refresh rate...

The hz of your monitor is the speed at which it can generate a frame per second.. (FPS). Soooo having your GPU render anything above your refresh rate can cause a lot of tearing as your GPU isn't aligning with your monitor's refresh rate. And yes try vsync, experiment.

If that does give you mouse lag, then try locking your fps at 143 or 142.
