I'm trying to figure out what size power supply to get for the build that i'm creating. Right now I have a 550 watt psu but I can return that if needs be. The current power supply is the Seasonic g series SSR-550

Build:
Motherboard: gigabyte h97
Processor: Intel Core i5 4460
GPU: nvidea gtx 970
RAM: 8gb corsair vengence

Would a larger PSU be recommended my only concern being I am on a budget and the graphics card is going to be my big purchase for this build and it would kinda suck if i didn't have enough power for it.

your current psu is a great product and you dont need to change it! GTX 970 will run fine on your system even if overclocked! total system power consumption with GTX970 will hardly reach 300w under heavy loads!

Awesome thanks very much! thanks also for the link it was very helpful looks like even if my 970 spikes to its max power draw I should still have plenty of power left over.
