I'm wondering if an i7 4790K will be compatible with ram that's running at 1.65v since most 2400mhz ram run at that speed. I've placed the parts on pcpartpicker and it said "The Kingston Beast 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory operating voltage of 1.65V exceeds the Intel Haswell Refresh CPU recommended maximum of 1.5V+5% (1.575V). This memory module may run at a reduced clock rate to meet the 1.5V voltage recommendation, or may require running at a voltage greater than the Intel recommended maximum." So i'm asking if my i7 4790K will run the Kingston Beast at 2400mhz or will it run at lower speeds.

Keep in mind that the stock memory speed for this CPU is DDR3-1600. Anything above this is over clocking the memory controller.
I guess it makes sense that you would need a higher voltage to push it to DDR3-2400.
I'm not an over clocking expert, but it seems to me if you can settle for DDR3-2133 1.5V memory this is more likely to be stable.
