i have a (amd a10 5800k cpu APU )
and i want to use a 780 and upgrade the rest of the parts later but my question is how much bottleneck will i experience with a gtx 780 and a amd 10 5800k?

Solution
Hello,

The A10 will severily bottleneck the 780, but until upgrade you will be fine, over 30 FPS on 1080p, just don't use the ULTRA graphics settings.

Upgrade to an i5-4790 + Z97 and you will have a system capable to game everything on ULTRA and over 60 FPS at 1080p.

Just remember:
1 - you will need a very good quality PSU, such this Seasonic: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151137 ;
2 - the GTX970 is here, more powerful and less power-hungry than GTX780.

Try to go for a GTX970, it has three things over the GTX780: more and faster video memory (4GB at 7GHz vs 3GB at 6GHz), DirectX 12 support (an advantage for the next-gen games), less power consumption (145W TDP vs 250W TDP). The efficiency of the Maxwell architecture is very good, performance-wise a GTX 970 ducks right between GTX780 and GTX780Ti despite its narrower memory bus (256-bit versus 384-bit).

You should expect some 30 FPS at 1080p, with medium-high graphics settings (because of your CPU, even an GTX760 wil give you 30 FPS, so it you want a cheap upgrade for your actual system go for the 760).

I suggested GTX970 over GTX780 because it will be more future-proof and it will work even better when DX12 games will appear.
