Just wondering what size PSU I would need for my PC. I tried using certain websites that calculate the wattage using my components but I get different results from each calculator.

Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz
Coolermaster EVO 212
ASRock Z77 Extreme4
MSI GeForce GTX 760 OC Twin Frozr IV
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200 RPM
Kingston V300 120GB SSD
2 x Cooler Master Sickleflow 120mm LED fans
1 x Cooler Master PWM 120mm fan
(Will be adding a 200mm exhaust fan as well in the future)

Corsair HX650 (Defective) RMA at the moment

If I was you I would get a 700 watt bronze power supply by cougar. You do not need that much but it will give you head room in the future and is only $99 on most sites. Which in my opinion is a fare price for a psu that is modular and very efficient

here is the full name and a link: cougar cmx 700w psu http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_i...

650 more than enogh,,, but if you'll get another gpu in the future, you must take at least 750 from good company

If you stay on one gpu 650 more than enough as I said

Good luck

The only real power draw on your pc is the gpu. A gtx 760 requires a 500w psu with at least 30a on the 12v+ . What you will want is any decent 500-650w psu, with the 520w/550w being optimum. Brands for good psus in the 520/550w range include Antec, XFX, Seasonic being the better choice, in the 620/650w range these include Corsair TXv2 or HX, EVGA G2, Antec, XFX, Seasonic. Honestly a 650 is overkill, a 520/550 is about perfect.
