AMD release their Kaveri APUs / CPUs not so long ago. 6 Months I think.

As for a replacement for the FX line, no one knows, they may have killed it off.

AM3+/FX is essentially dead. The FX replacement isn't till like 2016.

Those are not really new. They are just high binned, and cherry picked, FX's of the current Vishera/Piledriver arch. Their performance really isn't any different than their older FX Vishera/Piledriver counterparts.

I may build one soon with the ASUS AM1I-A or Asrock AM1H-ITX and the 5350 which has displayport as well.

And you can run it off 19v as well as power. It wont be used for anything major. But the parts are cheap. Except maybe for the case, if I get ITX

Those 5350's are nice little HTPC chips. I have been wanting one myself. Been thinking something kinda like this. Having the 3tb drive would allow me to put much of my video, currently on my file server, in the HTPC, meaning I wouldn't need to have it running in order to watch my video, leaving the file server only for backups to my video. :D

Will be getting them locally not overseas.

It'll probably cost the same / or more anyway inc postage, currency conversion, and whatever else you get charged for.

Dont think I'll put a hdd in it just a ssd. Since I may get an ITX case. Not ATX or MATX. Dont really need DVD I'll just use USB

If I brought a hdd I would probably connect it to the modem's USB port. Since you can use 2 ports for media / hdd's. Then it'll be available on the whole network
