Hi,

I recently bought a new setup with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti and two AOC G2460PG screens (what now seems to be an expensive rookie mistake). Now I'm stuck with two DisplayPort screens and only one DP input on my graphics card. Is there any chance I can still connect these two to my pc (e.g. with daisy-chaining)? If so, what other components would I need?

Thanks a lot for your help,
S.

are you sure the monitor is searching for the right connection? I know there is only one but play around with the buttons and see what happens, this option has worked for many and I am clueless why it doesn't for you.

Also try with only one screen also and then work from there.

Oh....wait, Did you buy the adapter ones with the built in converter?. There needs to be an adapter to convert DVI to DP signals, this is the reason for it not working. I hope you can return the cables still. You need something like this -

you need an active adapter for the screens...

You can just use a displayport to HDMI cable and hook one monitor up with a regular DP cable and the other into the HDMI port of your card. Or you can try to find a displayport splitter.

Oh and most people that purchase the 144Hz TN monitors tend to only buy one since it can be finicky getting the full 144Hz on all monitors. It's also unnecessary since you won't be using two monitors for gaming and trying to drive 3 or more 144Hz monitors in an eyefinity/surround setup is not feasible with today's hardware.

I was considering DP to HDMI adapter but wasn't successful finding one (as all of them allow me to plug my screen into DP not HDMI). Am I not going to have a similar problem while using the cable, since both - cables and adapters - seem not to be bi-directional?

Get two DVI to DP's, Just like this -

Well, just received my cable, plugged it in... And magic didn't happen. Keep getting no-signal message. You guys have any idea if there's still any chance to make it work?

you need an active adapter for the screens to work, not passive like the one you have.
