I'm in a bit of a budget and I want to see if an i5-4460 with a EVGA 750 Ti Superclocked would be better than an i3 with a Asus GTX 760. I will be using it for gaming (High/Ultra with good framerates), and recording of footage. Which one do I go with?

Solution
I would get a single more powerful graphics card over two less powerful cards any day.
More heat,more noise,more power consumption...I don't personally like that.
Try and squeeze an R9 270X and the i5 and you'll be good to go.

If you want high-ultra and you want to be able to record as well, you may need more than your current budget allows. An i7 + GTX 970 would be ideal IMO, but you can get away with an i5+GTX 970 as well. Newer games are allready pushing a GTX 760 to it's limit at high/ultra 1080p, and once you add in recording you may experiance less than desireable performance.

Maybe I could replace the 760 with a R9 270, so that later down the line I could Crossfire it if I wanted, because the motherboard would not support SLI. Thoughts?
