Title says it all
It used to work before a power supply failure, I could turn my pc on some times and the sound worked fine but when i got it fixed it stopped working,
right now i have a 350 watt no name supply but i used to have a 300watt no name before so i guess that's not the problem
The guy who fixed it also installed a new motherboard bios
If you could guide me how to fix it it would be really helpful

Solution
it could be when your old power supply died, it killed the on board audio. there isn't any good options if that's the case, you will have to swich the board to test it out. however, you can get a cheap audio card(assuming you have a PCI socket available. you will normally get better audio when using an after market card.
