Hi my motherboard is 970a-ud3p
Fx 8350 at stock clock and stock voltage
Corsair 1600mhz cl9 4x2gb low profile and timings are 9 9 9 24 @ 1.5v

Despite my efforts, it still shows at 1333mhz in both windows and bios i dont understand what I did wrong, ram multiplier is at 8 and shows 1600mhz but current memory freq is always showing 1334mhz. I have searched everywhere, they always say turn on the XMP feature and I did this but some say XMp doesn't have support on amd chipsets
Nothing is overclocked in my system

Is there any way to clock it to 1600mhz without overclocking ? I have found that i should overclock voltages and multipliers but I hate overclocking and feel anxious about it everytime.

I have bought these rams for using it at their full potential, arent they suppose to do their job in 1600mhz @ 1.5v or do they need overclock for that so they desinged for overclocking ?

Get the app CPU-Z and see what it shows in the memory tab - if it shows 800 then you are at 1600 since it is DOUBLE data rate (DDR), have a feeling you may be seeing something that shows the mobo default (prob 1333) or the SPD info from the sticks when you see 1333

Pretty much all ram comes at 1333mhz and you have to manuely set it to the advertised speed because it basically is saying that you can get this speed dont worry to much about the overclock you should just have to turn the XMP profile on but as that doesnt work just OC it. It's only a small amount extra and wont really add any more heat and you shouldnt have to deal with voltages at all. If you dont want the bother ram speed wont make any differance in performance unless you have an APU which you dont.

Let's say If managed to clock it to 1600mhz, would my cpu's temprature effected ? Because my water pump is gone I'm using amd stock fan right now and It can barely handle it.
