My build
Asus rampage iv black edition
asus gtx 780 3gb gpu
g skill ripjaw 4x4gb total 16gb at 1866mhz x.m.p.
intel i7 4820k 3.7 ghz

Monitor is my 55" Samsung smart tv 3d 1080p through high speed hdmi cable (Philips)

my question is when I play a game like assassins creed 4 or batman arkham city in full quality all is good and smooth except for a wave type thing happeing when I move or change camera angle...especialy when I do it fast. I hope you know what I mean by wave...the top and bottom picture separates like a wave... is this cuz I have anti aliasing on too high ? is it my display cuz its too big for PC gaming? HDMI cable? its high speed capable of 3D displays.? I've seen this in some of my console games..but not the ps4. and if it is anti aliasing...wich one would give me almost 60fps but also would not cause this? if that is the problem?

thanks

Dan

That's known as tearing, and happens because of change in framerate.
A TV is bad for gaming. The refresh rate is too low for a smooth experience.

Any tips on how to fix it? my tv is supposed to go to 200hz or something refresh rate...its set to 60hz maybe...should I turn auto motion plus? on the tv? it seems to happen when I turn some of the anti aliasing modes in assassins creed 4. ?

Turn on VSync. Or lock your FPS to 60.

On the TV turn off all processing. Most TVs have a 'Game' mode.

Why is a TV bad for gaming? If you're shooting for a solid 60fps, it is fine. Obviously if your TV is only 60hz then anything over 60fps will show tearing.

I use a large TV for gaming, like lots of other people. I don't have any tearing, but I use VSync. If I turn it off, I will see tearing.

If your goal is over 60fps, then I'd agree with you.
