Hey everyone.

I've encountered a problem with my connection to the internet. For the past few months I've lost my internet connection on a regular basis. When I try troubleshooting through Windows it comes up with the error message in the title. I only get this on my desktop PC and therefore I'm writing this from my laptop. My desktop is running Windows 8.1 and it is using an Asus PCE N15 network card.
I tried using some solutions from other forums but so far I haven't found a single one that worked for me.

Thank you in advance!

Ugh...this issue is the worst. I had to deal with it for several weeks on my laptop before I realized that Microsoft's default driver for my Broadcom chip was incompatible. Reverting to an older version solved the problem.

Anyway, the first thing to try is installing up to date drivers. You can get them at http://www.asus.com/us/Networking/PCEN15/HelpDesk_Downl.... I would've provided a link to the driver itself but you didn't specify if your OS is 32 or 64-bit. I would guess 64-bit but I'd rather not assume :)

I tried updating the drivers earlier but it didn't work. This time however it did :)  The internet is working right now, but I'll have to test it for a few days to see if it worked. Anyway thank you for helping me with this problem!
