Looking for a mid tower case that has 6 plus ssd bays built in.... i know i can just buy a bunch of cheap adapters, but just wondering if anyone has come across a case of this nature. Thanks

(edit) Or, if anyone knows of a good 6 plus internal drive cage that i can adapt into a case that would work as well.

Solution
Many cases that come with "full" sleds for drives are compatible with both 2.5" and 3.5" mounting in every sled (as apposed to cases that use "rails").. That beng said, there are cheap adapters that will give you 2 X 2.5" SSD mounts in each 3.5" bay. Those are the way to go in terms of maximizing your SSD mounting without any "cheats." (though DarkSable is absolutely correct, there's no reason they absolutely have to be on an official mount. )

The Arc Mini R2 from fractal design has native mounting for up to 8X SSDs (6x sleds and 2 positions behind the motherboard tray). With adapters for the sleds, it could mount 14XSSDs. That's a microATX case...
The Midi (mid tower) version could do 10X SSDs native, or 18 with the doublers.
Just throwing out there, SSDs don't have moving parts, and are incredibly lightweight. You could velcro them to the side panel or just on top of each other in the drive bays, and have absolutely no issues at all.

That being said, I echo Outlander's question - why do you need 6 SSDs? Putting them in RAID is a horrible idea, if that's where you're going.

Thanks everyone, I'm having to build a pseudo workstation, Client wants SSD's for 2 for operating system in raid 1, 4 for data backup in raid 10. They are beyond anal retentive. He told me specifically and I quote don't "Velcro, sticky tape or glue them in, I want this done right." Because i would have just Velcro-d them in my self hehe. mdocod thanks for the 2 in one recommendation. I found some by IcyDock and convinced my client to use them. After showing some of your guys recommendations, he demanded that it be no bigger than a SilverStone Temjin. And more or less told me he wants everything in this case.... Which I am relieved that he didn't pic a POS case. but it would "look" the way he wanted (palm to face happened more than once today) I showed him the 2 in ones and convinced him that by doing this it will allow for expansion in the future.... and that sold him. Thanks again guys for all the impute I know this all sounds ridiculous, but welcome to my world. Thanks again

Lol your absolutely right! I for the most part got out of that business, did it for 5 years; never again. People will pay for what they don't know how to do or fix.... but apparently they are all graphic designers who know how much it should take to design a complete lineup of t shirts posters web art and more.

Client: "Hey tallywho can you do all this?"
me: "Yes I can"
Client: "how much is it going to cost?"
me: "50.00 p/hr with a minimum retainer fee of 500.00 that guarantees you 10 hours of work and if i finish before that i will refund you the difference"
Client: "hmmm wellllllll it shouldn't take your more than 2 hours, so all just pay you 100.00 and that should be more than enough."
