Solution
well the PCU is a bit overkill, you could go with an i5 4670k or i5 4690k without noticing any difference.
also, the ppower supply is a 'decent' power supply but isnt meant for overclocking. so if you are going to overclock you should egt a PSU from the tier 2 list at least(http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html)
for the rest it looks fine.

No point in buying an i7 for gaming- an i5 will be more than enough.

No point in paying a huge premium for 2133MHz RAM, you won't notice much of a difference, especially if it doesn't have tight memory timings. Just get 1600MHz Cas 9. You nailed how much to buy, though, so good on you for not thinking you needed 16GB.

That power supply is kind of ridiculous overkill unless you're expecting to add a second 970 in the future - if no, a 550w power supply of good make will do you just fine.
