What i'm trying to do is setup a VPN connection from my computer to one of my dedicated servers located elsewhere, then using the VPN connection to the server as a proxy and having the server actually tunnel the information using the servers IP, network and etc.

Basicly I want all my network traffic from Computer A go to Server A then to the public internet. I know about http proxies, but this is for ALL traffic, and I use the VPN for other purposes as well.

Generally, it would be prefered if I could do this on a windows server, as that is what I have available at the moment.

I have a VPN connection already set up fine, I just cannot seem to get it to actually work when I try to use the server as the network gateway, or whatever I need to do.

Thanks!

When you engage in a VPN connection you are using the VPN sources connection to the internet. Thus if you connect to a VPN and then go to your web-browser and go to www.google.com you are doing it through the VPN connection. You can access your local Lan still, but all internet is already being reouted through the VPN connection.

Well, when I connect to the VPN I lose internet access, I needed to actually edit the VPN settings to exclude the option to use the gateway on the remote network. I'm assuming there is something on the server-side that I need to configure to tell the server how to manage my traffic.
