So i have a motorala surfboard SB6141, and I usually don't use or like Wifi, but I have company over and hooked up my netgear cgd24g. After doing so, Wired and Wireless connection both do not work.
The Wired connection shows up as Limited Access.
The Wireless shows up on wireless devices, and you can connect to it, it just doesnt provide any internet service.
When I do a Diagnostic I get
"Your Computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device ore resource (DNS server) is not responding"
how can i fix this without wasting money on a wireless router?
Worse case scenario I'll get 1 tomorrow or the next day, but if I can just use my netgear modem than that would be nice.
As far as ISP goes, the netgear should be compatable with them, after all they gave it to me at my last house.
