First you could buy a laptop cooler pad. This will keep the laptop cool while gaming.
Second lower the settings of your game, These temps are too high for your cpu and gpu and can cause damage to them.
Third, clean you laptop. Dust can cause heat to build up and slow down the fans.
Fourth make sure you are gaming on a flat surface.
Fifth make sure you only have programs you need and make sure that all startup processes are processes you want to start up.

Hey there chongri,

I would second @velo3100's recommendations.
I would add that you should be careful on what surface you put your laptop when it's at full load (heavy gaming, etc.).
If your laptop has air-intake or air out take openings, careful not to block them with anything (covers, clothes).
Performing defragmentation on your drive could be of some help. Also, if it's too hot in the room where you are playing, this might cause the laptop to have hard time cooling itself.
It wouldn't hurt to check if all fans are spinning properly (wiring problem, too much dust, etc.)

Hope this is of any help,

Captain_WD.

Hi dude, the defrag didnt help... and my gpu only runs at 20% of total space so there's no way it's a gpu problem and my graphics card is fairly decent too.

Hey again :)

OK so I would suggest what @velo3100 mentioned and try to clean any dust from the inside of the laptop and make sure all the fans inside are spinning properly.

So I assume you don't have any unnecessary background processes and all unecessary startup programs are disabled? This means that either your gpu is worn out as you said that it could run it before and now it can't. Otherwise you have too much dust in your laptop which is stuck in the fan and maybe other places in your laptop.

also, do you know why the sudden increasein temperature happens? because my computer ran fine without overheating for three years, so could it be a virus?

I don't think it is any malware (although it is possible). Make sure you use an antivirus program and keep it updated all the time.
The increase in temperature could be due to many factors: gathered dust, physical damage on a fan, clogged air opening, dislocated part inside during movement, change of the place where the computer is working (room temperature), etc.
