I need some help please, my new built pc will not boot up to my monitor, all the fans spin inside it, no bent pins and moved ram slots around to check for errors.
As you can tell it is my first pc built so yeah...

my components are:
CPU: AMD|8-CORE FX-8320 3.5G
MB: BIOSTAR|TA970 AM3+ AMD970
RAM:MEM 8G|KINGSTON HX316C10FB/8
GPU:EVGA|01G-P4-2753-KR GTX 750
HD: 1TB|WD WD10EZEX SATA6G
PSU: LOGISYS 480 psu...(it works but I'm going to change it later)

I heard rumors that my motherboard needs a case fan installed into the system fan header to work but my case came with only a molex fan...
Does anyone know if that is the case for my motherboard?
Or do you guys think it is another issue...

I thank you for helping...

I'd suggest to start with the breadboarding test (after step 23) and then apply the steps suggested in the link above.

"I heard rumors that my motherboard needs a case fan installed into the system fan header to work"

Just a rumor indeed, you only need to make sure the CPU fan is connected properly to the CPU fan header (and that would give a code error but not stop you from getting signal into the monitor).

Also, not sure if that mobo supports your CPU straight out of the box, a BIOS update might be required, you'll have to look into it's website info to see if that's true in your case. That would...
