Now, all this started since i've got a new HDD, so im guess that he's the one thats doing it. Every time my computer isn't doing anything and i open, for example, some game, mozilla, or even my computer it starts spinning like when i click my power on button.
Also, when its not doing anything, it constantly makes, the "power off" tick, like when you shut down your pc, and that final tick, 1 second before everything shuts down.
I don't know if i should be worried or anything, but it always gets me, i always expect for it to shut down.
Also, I should probably mention, when I installed Windows on my new HDD, my old one was also connected, and it installed boot parameters ,or whatever they're called, on the old one, so i always have to select to boot from the old HDD, even though my Windows is on the old one..

use a SMART checking utility, most new drives have one available... your BIOS may as well... IF it is new, get an RMA

Hi there borko3fkovix,

I would say that these are some weird sound that your HDD is making. I would agree with corroded and say that it is a good idea to run a brand specific testing utility and eventually RMA it if it does not pass.
You can also try some basic stuff like switching the SATA cables and reseating the drive(to a different port maybe).

Cheers,
