Hello. As the title says, what is the best headset I can get at > $70? I have been looking at the Plantronics GameCom 780 and the Corsair Vengeance 1500. I would like the headphones to have a good mic. What is the best out of the 2? Are there any other good headphones in that price range? Here's my list of things I would like to see in headphones from most important to least important:
1. Sound Quality
2. Comfort
3. Microphone Sound Quality
4. Durability

Anything not listed here is just something I don't care much about. So what is the best headset I could get in that price range?

P.S. I am not a big fan of Razer products. Suggestions are fine, but Razer just isn't my favorite company.

Sennheiser PC310. I like them better than the $185.00 PC360 set I have. The 310's are very comfortable with a good mic.
No volume adj on the cord to go bad.

Good suggestion, but I am looking for something that will completely cover my ears(they are big) and these cups seem a little small.

You should consider these I own them and I can attest to their quality sound and comfort. I usually game with them for about 8 hours a day so I can tell you they a very comfortable. They also have true 5.1 surround sound meaning that each side has 3 speakers with individual drivers and they also support virtual 7.1 surround sound. Go ahead and read the reviews on amazon and see for yourself.

Gonna buy them with the Corsair Vengance 1500. THanks, they look good and the authentic 5.1 surround is almost too good to be true at that price point. Thanks :)
