Hey everyone who is willing to help me out! PLEASE read everything that I wrote, I know it is a lot, but it is important and will help both you and me to find what I am looking for, thank you for all your patience and help you can provide.
I am new to this website and to building computers, so anyone who is willing to help me out, please bear with me, I might be a bit slower than most people to learn, but I will do my best to listen to what you say, thank you to anyone who is reading and helping me out, it really means a lot! I would like to build a gaming PC because most people I asked, they said building one is usually cheaper and better. So I researched a bit about it and decided to go for it! I found a few builds that I think might be good for what I am looking for, but I am not too sure if they are good enough, so please tell me if they are perfect for what I need, not good enough and you know a better build, or if the build I mentioned is good, but you have a few changes to make it perfect for what I am looking for. Anyways, I would like to build a gaming PC, mainly for Minecraft, I would like to play vanilla (for people who do not know what this is, it means the original game, without any changes or mods), modded survival (this is the opposite of vanilla, you download extra content called mods to make the game more fun and interesting, it usually requires a decent PC in order to load a bunch of mods) and on large multiplayer servers, all on high settings without lag (hopefully 100+ FPS playing vanilla, 60+ FPS playing modded, and 60+ FPS on servers) and be able to load a new world fast. I might play a few other games, like Terraria or other smaller Steam games, but I will not be playing the bigger, more detailed games like Battlefield 4 or Crysis 3 since I mainly play those kind of games on Xbox 360. I would also like to be able to run Internet Explorer and Google Chrome fast and be able to watch videos on YouTube, play games like Happy Wheels, and download items fast. Finally, I would like the price range to be around $600, I could go a bit higher, but not to $1000 or over. I think that about covers it, thank you to everyone who read my whole post, like I said at the top, I know it is a lot, but it with help out you and me both. Here are a few questions that a lot of people usually ask me when I am looking into building a PC:
Do you need a monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, ect?
I do need a monitor, preferably an HD, good all-around quality monitor. I do not need anything else.
What OS (Operating System) do you want?
I would really like Win7 64 bit, but if it is easier, then Win8 64 bit is ok.
Do you plan to record?
No
Here are the links to the PC builds I was talking about earlier:
http://austinnotduncan.com/builds/photon/
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/7JyYf7
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/mYNdMp this one might need to switch the case to a Source 210 (non-elite) because of the Compatibility issues.
Remember, like I said at the top, please tell me if they are perfect for what I need, not good enough and you know a better build, or if the build I mentioned is good, but you have a few changes to make it perfect for what I am looking for.
Thanks again to everyone who read my whole post (I read it a few times to check spelling, and it only took about 2 minutes, and I am a slow reader) and helps me out, it really means a lot!
