i5-4690k temps on load? are they too high?

Solution
Don't listen to rmark45matsu. That CPU will start to down clock at 95C. Most people claim not to go over 80C. I see your highest temp is around 70C. I think that you are just fine. If the throttle temp is 95C, I would think you can go to around 85C and still be safe.

You have to remember though, the hotter you run your CPU, you are just shortening the life span. So ask yourself, how long do you want your processor to last. If its only a year or so, then run it a bit hotter. If its more like 3 or 4 years, then go cooler.

I would feel comfortable with it running at 80C under loads. I just wouldn't run it at 80 for days on end. If its just for gaming purposes, you are fine at 80C. If you run your system under full load for days on end, I...
