A8 6600K vs A8 6500. Is there a difference?

I have a AMD A8 6500 and I thought it was the 6600k without the overclocking ability, but as I look at more benchmarks I see that the 6600k gets better scores. Is it actually better or not?

As you can see in the cpubenchmarks, there is no difference in performance at stock speed or in price, but when overclocked the 6600k leaves the 6500 in the dust. For that reason alone, it is a much better CPU, but if you never overclock or plan to, both APUs are the same thing.
