New to PC building, as this will be my first build ever.

Was wondering what your thoughts on this are and if you would switch out anything?

I had budgeted £600-650 and think i've got a good build for £643.53.

I plan to add another 8GB RAM at some point, Upgrade the PSU and Add Extra Fans.

Here is the link to the Pcpartpicker build : http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/mhfqNG

Cheers!

NOTE : I recently found an AMD CPU , which seems to look better and is cheaper than the i5 i have selected. What would you recommend?

The GTX 970 would take me out of my budget, i'll be happy with the Sapphire r9 290 Tri x for now.

Better GPU, dual channel RAM for better performance, newer generation CPU and mobo, and if you decide that you will not get a CPU that will overclock in the future, we can even go for a cheaper non-Z mobo, and get some stronger CPU.

The R9 290 is still a great GPU and a GTX 970 isn't really needed in 2014 neither 2015.

Shopped around a bit more and read up on the GTX 970, decided i'll go with that GPU after all, and swapped out the RAM as well.

And that is sitting nicely on my 650 budget,

Yeah but for an extra couple of quid it seems to be the one to get i'd say. And it's not as big which means more airflow!
