So I decided to upgrade my current computer with some hardware that was a bit more up to date. I went from a dual core processor and an HP Pavillion motherboard to a I-5 4590 processor, 8 gig of RAM, and a Z87-G41 MSI motherboard, and a Corsair 750W power supply. Basically a whole new computer. My problem now is on start up, the motherboard screen pops up, then the windows logo starts to load but then freezes and a brief blue screen appears but it's so brief I can't see what it says before it tries restarting and the computer monitor just says no signal even though the tower and fans are running fine. I've tried running safe mode, system restore, and I get errors like "system can't be restored automatically." If I could get it to reformat I would but it's not allowing me to even begin that process either. Any suggestions on what happened with the rebuild? I salvaged the HDD, graphics card GT-640, and CD-ROM and moved these and the new components into a newer upgraded case as well.

I could be completely wrong but I'm pretty sure when you change out all the hardware, all the drivers on your hdd freak out when you try to boot with it, If you have another hdd try using it with a fresh OS to see if it's the software on your hardrive or the physical hardware.
