My current computer

CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K Quad-Core Processor 3.4 Ghz 8 MB Cache LGA 1155
Mobo: Intel Desktop Motherboard LGA1155 DDR3 1600 ATX
PSU: CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V v2.3 SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS BRONZE
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 570 HD Superclocked 1280 MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0
Case: Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 High Airflow ATX Cube Case
RAM: G.SKILL 8GB (4 x 4GB) Ripjaws X Series DDR3 1600MHz PC3-12800 240-Pin

So my problem is my GTX 570 is getting worn out and freezes up almost all the time while play games like Diablo 3, Marvel heroes 2015, Path of Exiles, and league of legends all on lowest settings possible. I have recently upgraded my case as my old one over heated my computer regularly. But now i would like to upgrade my GPU and so i bought a EVGA Geforce GTX 760 but my current mobo does not work with this one, so im wondering what i should do.
Should i get a LGA 1155 z77 chipset mother board which is compatible with the GTX 760 and my current CPU or jsut get a new mobo and cpu? also if i get a new mobo im fine with lga 1150 or 2011 but i am not sure which is better suited for my daily use.

sorry about my grammar, English is my first language but I suck at it.

Why won't the GPU work with the mobo? I have a similar build as you (Z68 mobo) running 2x 570's and I want to upgrade too but didn't count on having to replace the CPU/Mobo. I thought that the socket on the mobo only had to match the CPU. The GPU should fit in any PCIe slot, right?
