I purchased a Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 motherboard in order to replace a board that suddenly died on me.

I was hoping to reuse my RAM and CPU in this machine. The RAM I have is:
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-8GBRL

and my CPU is:
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Thuban 6-Core 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Desktop Processor HDT90ZFBGRBOX

My video card is:
GIGABYTE GV-N210SL-1GI GeForce 210 1GB 64-Bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Ready Video Card

When I got the board I hooked it up. Put in the CPU and RAM and when I turned it on it would not post and the CPU_LED and DRAM_LED lights flashed. I stripped it down to one stick of RAM in the A2 slot according to the manual and even removed it from the case but the same thing happened and the two LEDs kept blinking. I jumped on support with ASUS and they determined it was a bad board so I RMAd it with Newegg and got a replacement.

That board came in today and I hooked it up and the same thing happened. The DRAM_LED light and the CPU_LED light continue to blink. I doubled checked that the CPU was seated correctly and there were no bent pins. I even cycled through the RAM to see if any single stick was bad but the same thing. I also flash updated the BIOS per ASUS suggestion to version 2501.

I'm not sure if the Motherboard is the issue or not because the same thing is happening with two separate boards. I checked the compatibility charts that came with the board and my RAM and CPU are both listed on there so I'm a bit baffled.

One thing that I have been thinking could also be the issue is the Power Supply. My PSU is only 450watt and instead of having an 24-pin and 8-pin power connector it has the 24-pin and a 4-pin connector.

So before I go spending more money I wonder if the problem could be the PSU, CPU or RAM. Hoping that I missed a super easy thing as that would be way faster than having to start replacing parts.

Appreciate any help I can get as everything I have found on the internet that has claimed to solve the problems is not working for me.
