Hi. I have a gigabyte ga-970a-ud3p running 8gb of 1866mhz corsair vengeance and an and fx 4350 fitted. I have to mess about with BIOS settings for it to run ram at 1866. Sometimes it won't boot unless I set to default settings. Very frustrating. Also board does not support wake on lan. I'm looking for a gigabyte board that will be like the next model up that supports wake on lan and natively supports my ram at 1866mhz. Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Don't fiddle around in BIOS if you don't know what your doing, if your not getting it to boot at 1866Mhz then I advise you read up on how to do so. It's not about the motherboard that supports the ram speed anymore, now days it's about the CPU. That said, your CPU can support memory modules at 1866Mhz but by the way your post is written, you don't know how to do so.

Also is wake on lan a deciding factor?
