My Dell laptop (14z 5423) shows no sign of working. The indicator lights don't turn on when power supply is connected, the laptop doesn't open when I press the power button, no beep sound or any sound at all. I bought a new power supply, but it still doesn't work. Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem might be, and how I might solve it ?

No. I've taken apart the laptop, and the fan isn't working either. I've left the power on for a while, but there weren't any heat, so I'm assuming no power was circulating to the CPU or the integrated GPU. I've checked the voltage around the power connector on the motherboard with a DMM, and there were some voltage; but I'm no expert with motherboards, so I don't even know if I've used it at the right place. So basically, It seems that there is no power circulating on the motherboard.
