Hi everyone, I am experiencing high ping on my laptop since a few days ago. I tested my internet and everything is fine, ping is solid ~5ms on every device but my laptop (~70ms). A IRL friend helped me and we figured out its a software problem since when I boot in safe mode w/ networking the problem doesnt occur. I am pretty sure its caused by some drivers, is there any way I can find what is causing the problem?

I would uninstall the driver through device manager and reinstall the correct Ethernet driver for your model of laptop from the website. And make sure there are no programs running in the background that may be consuming your bandwidth. I would be testing it over the Wifi to see if u get a lower ping, that would probably confirm its the Ethernet driver causing the problem.
