Hi everyone, what I need to know on this fine day is:
Is there a wireless router out there that has the following capabilities?:
Able to block all P2P traffic.
Able to block streaming from some of those seedy streaming TV shows and movie sites.
Able to log all IP addresses or websites accessed and which local IP address accessed them (this might be a long shot but this is of interest)
Also able to block local IP addresses (to ban access of violating users)

The reason for these features is that I am absolutely over the piracy and stuff going on under my nose in my household even after I've told them numerous times and blocked them off my router for weeks at a time. What sort of brands of wireless routers have these features? Thanks in advance. Oh and it's gotta be ADSL, cheers.

Just about any router can do all that if you look in the options. You do need to know what ports and protocols the sites you want to block use. P2P can use a lot of ports when in use, you are likely to need a dedicated firewall to block things. Take a look at WFilter here http://www.imfirewall.us/

There are plenty of other firewalls that can do similar things, SmoothWall is one. It's tough to use a home router to have good control over traffic especialy IP.

And kids can find ways around stuff, I blocked facebook at times, and of course saw traffic going to VPN sites that hid where they were going so they can use facebook anyway.

You can setup a white list of MAC addresses that can connect to the router, to block somene, just...

You can setup a white list of MAC addresses that can connect to the router, to block somene, just remove that PC from the list.

Every router I have seen also has he ability to turn on logs to see what the traffic is through them.
