Hi all, i dont know if the 2 problems are related but i think it does.Im trying to find a problem that is on a notebook of a friend of mine, When i startup the laptop, fujitsu siemens Amilo PI 3625 windows 8.1, it makes around 30 beeps in the startup...Afterwards when windows 8.1 is running sometimes in a menu or a list with options it scrolls automatically to the last option, if already tried to remove the drivers of the keyboard but it stays the same everytime...I've find out that that notebook's keyboard actually doesnt support windows 8.1 but does that also explains the beeping sounds?

the beep codes may indicate the absence of an input device.

yes the touch pad works, but in the device management the keyboard is just noticed as a standard keyboard(no mentioning of touch pad)

thats an I/O conflict.. the laptop is detecting the keyboard and touchpad as an external input device, so its using the generic drivers found in the OS for compatibility..

try connecting a usb keyboard and mouse before boot up...
