hello, I'm thinking of buying an i5 4690k, and I put it in the gaming motherboard MSI Z97 5, and I have a doubt, is that I can reach 4.5GHz with this mother board? why not see reviews out there and anything like that, only with i7 4790k to 4.8GHz they did, I would be very happy if they talked me !! Thank you!

a 750 is way overkill for your build unless you are planning to SLI in the future. Also cx is corsairs bottom of the barrel PSUs. The Gold or Platinum rating is an efficiency rating for how much energy it sucks from the wall thus the higher the better your electric bill will be but has nothing to do with how many watts it delivers to your cpu.
You can get a SeaSonic S12II 620 Bronze for the same price as the corsair.

If you are going to SLI two 970s, I suggest you get a better quality PSU.

Try looking for EVGA SuperNOVA 750B2 = It's gotta be the B2 and not B1.

Or you can go a little higher too. EVGA SuperNOVA 750G2 would be amazing for your build!

The Corsair CX units have poor quality capacitors. Good Corsair units are HX (and HX v2), AX and TX, or you can go with other quality brand PSUs.

For one GPU a 550-650W would be the right amount, maybe even 500W or lower if you don't intend to overclock.
