Could someone tell me if this would be a decent set up to run games on the highest possible settings, or at least very high settings? This is the setup I came up with so far and suggestions would help if I'm far off.

HDD: WD Blue 1 TB Desktop Hard Drive: 3.5 Inch, 7200 RPM, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64 MB Cache -
ATX case: NZXT Guardian 921 RB ATX Mid Tower Case, Black 921RB-001-BL
Graphics card: Sapphire Radeon R9 270 2GB GDDR5 DVI-I/DVI-D/HDMI/DP Dual-X with Boost and OC Version PCI-Express Graphics Cards

On amazon this all adds up to about 1,200, so is that a realistic price for the specs? Thank you in advance

Edit: the games I'm going to play are only skyrim, fallout, and minecraft, which I'd like to run at the highest settings. I might play more games, but running those on ultra wouldn't be too big of a deal.

Solution
No you can play many games at ultra settings with r9 270 but some games like crysis 3 and metro last light you have to lower the graphic settings if you want to play every games at max settings go for gtx 970.
