Hello everyone, i am looking for a suggestion on building a new HTPC, as the old one is, well, old enough.

I am thinking something like Intel CPU Core i3-3250 , Gigabyte B75M-D3H and 1x Crucial Ram DDR3 4GB Dimm 1600MHz. I already got new PSU and hdd. I plan on using the integrated gpu of the i3, for movies and perhaps steam streaming games.

I think this is a solid HTPC and will play 1080p movies with no problems, but any tips and suggestions are welcome.

I watch a lot of video's online on HULU. For a CPU, I used a i-3 4330, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116945, This CPU has 4600 HD Graphics, and the 4 Meg L3 Cache. Runs at TDP of 54 watts, at 3.5 Ghz. I used a slightly more expensive Gigabyte Z87N-WIFI (Rev 2.0) motherboard because I wanted the built-in Centrino Wireless "ac" card. I think the Processor has a lot of bang for the buck. It runs quite fast for an i-3. So if you open multiple windows, it can handle it. I used about the same type of RAM. Since it was in an ITX Case I turned the power supply upside down to pull out as much hot air as possible. Cooler Master 130 elite case and CTX430M power supply. Used the Integrated GPU.

I used a wireless keyboard/touchpad.
Connected to a Samsung 40" LCD HDTV.

It doesnt mean my choice is any better. I like the wireless so I can move the TV around.
