i would like to know what is the maxx wattage PSU that i can put in my 570 without frying the orignal equiptment going to get a 500w PSU but was wondering if i could get a bigger PSU such as an 800-1000w PSU so that way when i contune upgradeing my system i dnot have to buy another PSU thank you so very for your time williamMs39426

the reason i need to get a new PSU is i have a GT630 GPU

adn the reason for my question today is that i just dont want to fry my system by getting to big of a PSU
 
Solution
You can't do any damage with a PSU that outputs more wattage than the existing one.
Don't confuse watts with volts. Too much voltage will kill components. Watts is a different matter altogether.
Regardless of wattage, every PSU has the same universal 5-volt and 12-volt output cables for the motherboard & components.

Wattage is merely a measure of capacity - - the maximum wattage that the PSU is capable of supplying.
Your system will draw whatever wattage each component demands in total.
