I'm thinking about upgrading to APU between A8 or A10 with or without HD 6670 since I've always been with my 5 year old PC for single player only , PS3 and tablet for online gaming. I'm very concern about budget .
I've also heard about Pentium K getting better reviews and gaming experience. Please help, guys.

The fx 4150 is a very sub-par cpu for what you pay. It is significantly worse than amd's lowest performing cpu today (I had a fx 4130, which is almost identicle to the 4150, and I overclocked it to 4.6 and it still performed worse than my a10 6800k at stock).

The i3 has fantastic single core performance and is hyperthreaded, so you can still have 4 working threads. The only downside is that you cannot really overclock an i3. The real reason for this combo is the better graphics card. That combo is easily the best bang.

Are you buying a pre-built computer or building it yourself? How are you coming up with these combinations?

1280 x 1050 using 21.5 Samsung syncmaster with core duo , I'll try the new PC on my toshiba led TV 32 in . I'm using pentium duo core with Galaxy GT630 ddr3 2 ram and 3 gb of ram. On Assasin's creed Black Flag, it's fine on low setting. As for my budget, it's up to $120 for the CPU , with the APU I can also enjoy playing BF4, I can upgrade next year when GPU goes on sale.

Are you anywhere near a microcenter?

If I were you I would look into an a8 6600k + motherboard bundle somehow. Great APU for the money and will fit in your budget.

You will however need to get more RAM to take full advantage of the IGPU. Fortunately your resolution is lower than true 1080p. You may be able to get my on what you have at very low graphics settings, but to unleash the potential of that APU its best to have 8gb of 1866mhz ddr3 RAM. If you are on a tight budget you are headed in the right direction with the APU. aYou can upgrade to an APU now and get better RAM later.

The other advantage to an a8 6600k is its unlocked, and performs rather well as just a CPU, even for the price (for when you decide to get a discrete GPU). It is overclockable and overall in my opinion the very best budget oriented APU.

I'm also watching YouTube for comparisons , gaming tests and best entry / mid level CPU + GPU combo or the new APU gaming tests, some say this and some say that, I'll never know which is which so I have to test it myself. @ CptBarbossa
