Hi Guys,

I bought this monitor Asus VE248H http://www.asus.com/Monitors_Projectors/VE248H/ days ago.
The reason i bought a 27" monitor is so i can fit all the windows in one monitor but the resolution of this monitor is 1920x1080 so it's still the same fit as a small monitor. The only difference is everything is bigger.

Is it possible to increase the resolution of this? So i can fit most of my program windows into one monitor?

I already tried to check the windows screen resolution and amd catalyst control panel but it's the maximum resolution.

Just trying my luck here if anyone know any trick to increase it.

Thanks

Solution
This is the number of physical pixels on the screen, you can't change this.
The model you have linked is 24 inch. I guess you bought the VE278H or VE278Q.
What you wanted though was a 2560x1440 monitor like the PB278Q.

You can't increase beyond your native monitor resolution. If you want a higher resolution you'll have to get another monitor (such as a 27" 1440p monitor) If I were you I would purchase another monitor to use alongside your current one.

I already checked the windows display settings and everything is set to the smallest already.

What monitor can you recommend with the same price range?

Thanks

Monitor prices go up very rapidly when you step up in resolution - you're best option, as mentioned above, is to get a second monitor the same size and resolution (I presume full HD i.e. 1920x1080) as your current one, and then set up your desktop to span the town monitors (provided your GPU will support this...)

It won't be the same price range, 2560x1440 monitors are more expensive.

Hi,

What do you mean by "span the town monitors"?
