We use "balanced" on all our CAD workstations at the office and gaming boxes at home .... gives us power when we need it and eases of and downclocks everything when we don't.

Balanced is not bad however there needs to be modifications to the profile in my opinion for maximum performance when needed...

Are you aware of any tweaks?

I do remember that some SSD utilities don't like one or the other.

I have my system at very high CPU OC voltages so the idea of running fill tilt 24/7 is not a place I wanted to be.... you can downclock still in other ways but it's less than ideal.

I set my minimum power state to 25% instead of 5% because I notice a glitch when gaming...

When I loaded a scene in Wolfeinstein New order, I got a initial lag until I switched to 25%
