I am buildig my first gaming pc and my budget is $1000. i do not have any parts at all. I would prefer the CPU be an intel i5. I won't be overclocking in the near future, but having a GPU capable of SLI would be great because i might use the SLI feature in the future. I can stretch the budget to $1100 if the $100 dollars will make a huge difference. Even though i won't be overclocking, i would still prefer having an after market cpu cooler because i live in a tropical country and is especially hot during summer.

Approximate Purchase Date:By christmas this year (December 2014)

Budget Range: $1000... $1100 if it makes a big difference

System Usage from Most to Least Important: (Mostly)Gaming, Movies, Internet

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Do you need to buy OS:Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com amazon.com

Location: City, State/Region, Country - philippines, but can ship parts if needed.

Parts Preferences: intel CPU and a Nvidia GPU would be better

Overclocking: No
SLI: Maybe in the future, but having sli gpu and motherboard capable of sli would be better

Monitor: a 19" monitor. whatever fits the budget

Additional Comments: Please include a cpu cooler because i live i a tropical country and is very hot.

Thanks a lot

^ might want to add an SSD to that build. That means he would have no more than 200 for the Monitor, and that is at max budget.

This build is really great, but the only problem is that the motherboard does not support sli and I am planning to use sli in the future.

You don't need 850w to SLI 970s even if everything is overclocked. Get an EVGA 750 B2. AMAZING quality PSU for very cheap.

Other than the MSI GTX 970, will the Zotac version do the job? because the MSI version is $100 dollars more expensive locally and the zotac is just $5 dollars more expensive than the price of the card you mentioned.

Yes, the Zotac is perfectly fine. Change that PSU as well. Get an XFX550 or XFX650.
