Hello, I've been having a strange issue lately so I hope somebody will have an idea how to hopefully fix this.

As the title suggests, my nvidia display driver won't work when I have 2 sticks of ram inserted into my mobo in ANY combination. Both sticks work separately in each of the 4 slots. But If I put them inside together, windows just shuts down my display driver, whereas it works perfectly with only one stick at a time. I hope I'm missing something too obvious here.

Specs:

MOBO: ASRock M3A UCC
RAM: Kingmax FLFE85F-C8KM9 DDR3 1333 mHz, 2x2 GB
GPU: Gainward GeForce GT 630 1GB GDDR5
CPU: AMD Athlon II x2 240

Thank you in advance.

With 1 stick in set to 1333 9-9-9-27 1.565 and raise the CPU/NB voltage to 1.13 save exit and shut down, then try adding the second stick - if no joy may have to drop to 1066

I'll try it as soon as I get home but I think I can only set DRAM voltages in 0.5 steps, such as 1.50, 1.55, 1.60 etc.

Tried with the 9-9-9-27 1.55 config, didn't work. I even underclocked the RAM to the lowest possible setting. And since there was no 1.13 voltage in the NB voltage menu I first put it on 1.24 I believe but that also did nothing so I put the NB voltage to the highest possible setting, again, with no effect. Oh and I found out that this issue completely kills the whole Nvidia driver package, not only the display driver.

Don't go to the highest, from 1.24 try whichever is next up available

I know I'm kindda late with the reply, didn't have time. Unfortunately, messing with voltages didn't solve it :/

Did you try a BIOS and Chipset driver update?

Yeah I updated the BIOS to the latest version but I can't find chipset drivers for windows 8.1, there are only win 7 available from the ASRock site and they won't install.
