Hi all,

This is probably a really easy question. I'm about to downgrade (deleting/formating all partitions) from Windows 8 to Windows 7 but don't want to lose the option of going back to Windows 8 without paying for another product licence/key. Just in case I decide to give/sell the laptop away. I'm looking for a way I can create a Windows 8 OEM bootable DVD that will contain my current product key that I can boot from Windows 7 CSM boot later. I don't want to eliminate my OEM key once I've deleted/formatted to Windows 7, and I also want to have a simple copy of Windows 8 OEM that will work on this laptop and this laptop alone, obviously.

I recently created a USB stick through "Toshiba Media Recovery centre" that has the files listed below in it. Could I possibly boot from Windows 7 into this USB stick to recover Windows 8? I was going to attempt a CSM boot from in Windows 8 to test if it worked but was concerned I might do something wrong.

BIN (folder)
BOOT (folder)
EFI (folder)
SOURCES (folder)
ZZImages (folder)
BOOTMGR
BOOTMGR.EFI
DATA
plandata

Once it was finished I just had to click "close" which seemed a little strange also. Usually once a DVD /USB finishes writing it closes by itself or says succesfully completed etc. In this case nothing. Just 100%, then manual close. Is that right?

Any thoughts, comments or ideas are greatly appreciated.
